This renovation undertaken by Stewart + Stewart was almost a complete rebuild. Set on pristine acreage, the original external structure was retained whilst ceilings were raised over half a metre and gridded with recycled hardwood timber beams. Incorporating antique architectural salvage into this build is a Stewart + Stewart signature element. This is a bespoke residence with an interplay of contrasting luxurious elements with an aged and worn aesthetic. This complexity is reflected in the palette of tumbled stones, blemished timbers, polished parquetry floors and gilded antiques.
